Event Day Details

Dunrovin Ranch in Lolo on Saturday, August 19 anytime from noon – 8pm.

Watch our artists as they paint and decorate six live horses throughout the day. Bring a picnic to enjoy with your family and friends, let Penny Cooper of Skin Tight Face and Body Art paint your face, check out the river, play lawn games, interact with our ranch animals, or create your own painted pony poster! Stay until evening to witness the running of the painted horses as they are released into the pasture – a beautiful sight to see!

Then vote (as often as you like!) for your favorite horse/artists team by making a $5 donation to Friends of Dunrovin for each vote. Voting online anytime, and for a full week following the event.

We LOVE our Dunrovin Horses!

Because of their reliability, only Dunrovin Ranch horses are used for the EAE. Artists use only nontoxic materials and methods of application approved by the ranch. Horses are kept in the shade, have continual access to hay, and are given periodic water and exercise breaks. While no one can talk for a horse, they do seem to enjoy the attention!
